Our client Eileen came in our store with an inquiry. She had been to other jewellers inquiring about recutting and redesigning her broken Jadeite bracelet into a bespoke piece of jewellery. Unfortunately, they were unable to help her.
Cutting and polishing gemstones is a difficult and complex art.
The Jadeite bracelet had a sentimental value for Ellen as it was a gift from her belated husband. She was very delighted and excited to hear that we could cut and polish a piece of her Jadeite to design a bespoke ring that she could wear everyday as a memory to her husband. We recut a piece of her bangle into a rectangular shape cabochon cut stone and made it into a beautiful dress ring,
